UNM 2018
Ung Nordisk Musikk is "an annual festival presenting the youngest generation of Nordic composers. The festival alternates its host between Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland. Since the inaugural festival in 1946, UNM has made a steadfast commitment in promoting and presenting the new music of Northern Europe." This years festival was held in Bergen, Norway. I designed the identity for the festival, along with the program booklet and the poster.

Ladyfest 2018
A poster for the only feminist festival in Estonia, Ladyfest. Ladyfest (LFT) is a feminist event where all women, and people outside the 'traditional' gender alignment, can meet and exchange experiences, though everyone is welcome to attend. The festival consists of workshops, films, talks, and parties. I was commissioned to update the identity, and to design the poster as well as the images for the facebook events. This years festival was about mothers and motherhood (with the slogan "Your mother is a feminist!"), so felt that it was important that I included my own mother's handwriting on the poster.

Some elements of the new Startun identity
Facebook page header
Startun identity 2017
When I met with the client, her strong wish was to have an identity based on different elements, so that she could herself make a facebook event cover when necessary. We briefly discussed using icons, but decided in the end to go with a more hand-drawn style, illustrations with 'EKA kiiks' (quirk) as Startun is affiliated with the Estonain Academy of Arts (EKA). Link to the project here.

Artell magazine 2016
By definition, artel (Russian: арте́ль, Estonian: artell) is a general term for various cooperative associations for craft and artisan enterprises.
Artell was a short-lived magazine dedicated to the Estonian culture, photography and arts. The trilingual (Estonian, Russian, English) magazine's first and only theme was 'identity'. The project failed to get enough financial support to continue.
I was responsible for the cover image, the logo (the name as well as the typography), some illustrations / emblems, stickers and the poster for the launch party.

Konstfack Students for Refugees 2015
Facebook event cover images
As an exchange student in Konstfack (Stockholm, Sweden) I was the graphic designer for a student group that organised a fundraiser for Doctors Without Borders. I was given free rein with the visuals, and decided to stick with black, gray and white (with a splash of red in few places to draw attention) to honour the serious aspect of the occasion. To balance the monochromatic and somber colour scheme, I decided to draw playful vector illustrations to invite our audience to engage with us. Our audience was mainly the students, as we needed them to donate their works to be sold at Konstfack's Christmas Market (visited by 6000-10 000 people every year). The event was a success (here), and we managed to raise 45 172,40 swedish crowns.
